Home Run Derby Memories: Josh Hamilton 2008

Although it was just a Home Run Derby, I still consider Josh Hamilton's performance in the 2008 Home Run Derby at Yankee Stadium to be one of the single most impressive performances I have ever seen in sports. I can't decide what was more impressive, the fact that he hit 28 Home Runs in the 1st Round or how far he hit them. Although Justin Morneau actually won the derby, even Morneau himself felt that he was undeserving of the trophy.

Unfortunately, Major League Baseball believes that it owns the exclusive rights to "Major League Baseball" memories that actually belong to the fans that treasure them, so I found a pretty cool video filmed by a fan in stands during a portion of Hamilton's legendary performance.
