Gastric Bypass is the New Book from Law of Cards’ Paul Lesko
As some collectors may be aware, the Cardboard Connection's own Law of Cards columnist, Paul Lesko, stepped away from practicing law, and his role on the site, to put pen to paper and write a manuscript in 2015. Seeing that effort come to fruition, his debut novel, Gastric Bypass, releases on March 17, 2017, through Wild Wolf Publishing.
Straddling the line of several genres, Gastric Bypass is a dark yet comedic novel along the lines of Fight Club and Trainspotting, with a couple parallel universes thrown in for good measure.
Gastric Bypass Synopsis
Gastric Bypass follows Nat, a sleazy, college-town lawyer, specializing in drunk student and stripper law, who is pulled into the world of a radical group that "betters" civilization by forcibly performing gastric bypass surgeries on the obese.
"Run by a black-listed, former-collegiate athlete and his enigmatic brother who uses his ability to view the multiverse to guide his actions, Nat is caught in the largest crime spree in U.S. history, and then forced to defend his 'best' friends in court for their actions."
Although the book officially releases in the middle of March, it can be pre-ordered now on Amazon.
