A universe without limits needs heroes without boundaries. Thankfully, the Funko Pop Valerian figures are stylized without limitations. The vinyl release features several subjects from the cinematic film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.
Numbered as part of Pop! Movies, the title character leads the Funko Pop Valerian lineup along with Laureline, and each wears metallic blue armor and wields a weapon. Naturally, Doghan Daguis has three options including the base figure and two chase variants, averaging 2 in 6 boxes. Played by Clive Owen, Commander Arun Filitt stands at attention with his hands behind his back while donning a teal and gold uniform.
The Funko Pop Valerian figures are approximately 3 3/4" tall, however, Igon Siruss is much wider and Da is noticeably shorter than the rest of the set.
Director Luc Besson (The Fifth Element, Lucy) co-wrote the sci-fi movie which is based on the French comic series Valérian and Laureline. Based in the futuristic 28th century, time-traveling agent Valerian and his partner Laureline are on a mission to save the entire universe.
