Starring Tim Allen as the beloved gift-giver, the 1994 movie offers a non-traditional storyline for Santa Claus.Tim Allen plays Scott Calvin (same initials as Santa), the man who unwittingly becomes Santa Claus. The debut of The Santa Clause's vinyl line offers two different versions of the character. Capturing his look from earlier in the film, one choice is the red-clad Scott Calvin / Santa wrapped in Christmas lights and wearing a Santa hat. However, the biggest difference is the lack of a beard.
Displaying his full transformation is the bearded version of Santa with a Christmas sweater. This white-haired figure better matches the signature look of the iconic character, albeit in a more casual outfit.
In terms of the original film, other possible options for the future include Scott Calvin's son, Charlie, and Bernard, the head elf.
