Ultimate Funko Pop Starship Troopers Figures Gallery and Checklist
Come on you apes, you wanna live forever?! The sci-fi battle rages on with Funko Pop Starship Troopers figures.
Based on the Robert A. Heinlein novel, Starship Troopers released in theaters near the end of 1997. The vinyl set starts with Casper Van Dien as John "Johnny" Rico. Exclusive to San Diego Comic-Con 2019 (and GameStop), the figure shows Johnny in his Roughneck battle gear. Rico is splashed with orangish blood from the massive Tanker Bug he killed.
Speaking of the Tanker Bug, that is the second figure in the set. Also an exclusive, the 6" Super-Sized Pop! came at 2020 Emerald City Comic Con (and GameStop). It features the massive bug in attack mode.
Wave 2 offers Carl Jenkins (Neil Patrick Harris), Ace Levy (Jake Busey) and Jean Rasczak (Michael Ironside), along with the Warrior Bug and another figure for Johnny Rico.
This means collectors will have to wait longer for possible Dizzy Flores (Dina Meyer) and Carmen Ibañez (Denise Richards) figures.
Of course, there could be many more bugs to collect (and kill), as well.
