Funko Pop Mighty Ducks Figures
Ducks fly together in the Funko Mighty Ducks set. The vinyl line first announced at New York Toy Fair 2020 celebrates the Disney film about a rag-tag tween hockey team.
Released in 1992, D1: The Mighty Ducks centers on a losing squad in need of a coach and an arrogant lawyer still running (or skating?) from his past. That would be Emilio Estevez as Gordon Bombay. He coaches the team on the ice and in the Pop! lineup.
Dressed in team gear, the rest of the initial series includes the players. There's #99 Adam Banks (Vincent Larusso), #96 Charlie Conway (Joshua Jackson), #44 Fulton Reed (Elden Henson), and #33 Goldberg (Shaun Weiss), the lovable goaltender.
Of course, the original film has a large roster of additional players, and that is before you get into D2: The Mighty Ducks (1994) or D3: The Mighty Ducks (1996). So, needless to say, there is plenty of room for growth in this Pop! Movies series.
While the 2020 series was initially canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it returned for 2021 with the same selection.
