Funko Pop Green Hornet figures pay tribute to the crime-fighting legend. The lineup includes the Green Hornet and his sidekick, Kato.
The Green Hornet first debuted as a radio series in 1936. The masked hero later made the jump to television in 1966, which is the focus of the vinyl set.
Kicking off in 2018, Funko Pop Green Hornet includes individual figures for the two main characters. The Green Hornet (Britt Reid), memorably portrayed by Van Williams, came first as a Specialty Series exclusive. The figure is naturally heavy on his signature color, including a green hat, suit and gun, along with his green mask.
Joining him in 2019 as a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive is his valet and partner, Kato. Of course, many collectors know this character is played by the iconic Bruce Lee. Although Kato is dressed in all black, he does not have on his mask.
In addition, the duo can be found in exclusive two-packs at San Diego Comic-Con 2018 and New York Comic Con 2019. These two-packs each feature different variants for Kato and the Green Hornet.
A modern reboot, of sorts, the franchise added a film in 2011 starring Seth Rogen as the Green Hornet and Jay Chou as Kato.
