Funko Pop Eastbound & Down Figures
The foul-mouthed, hard-throwing pitcher takes the mound once more in Funko Pop Eastbound & Down. The Pop! Television set features Danny McBride as Kenny Powers, a down-on-his-luck, former MLB player who aspires for another run at greatness. Debuting on HBO in 2009, Eastbound & Down ran for four seasons.
For the first figure in the Funko Pop Eastbound & Down set, Kenny Powers takes the mound for the Myrtle Beach Merman. The look captures the tan/burn line from his sunglasses.
In addition, Powers is featured in a full Mariachi outfit while doing finger guns. He is also found in a casual outfit sporting cornrows and holding a rooster ("Big Red"). Both of these choices highlight moments from Season 2.
Funko has not mentioned any future releases so far, but obvious choices include Katy Mixon as April Buchanon, Steve Little as Stevie Janowski and Will Ferrell as Ashley Schaeffer. Of course, there is room for multiple Kenny Powers variants, as well.
