Funko Pop Cool Runnings Figures
Feel the rhythm! Feel the rhyme! Get on up, it's bobsled time! However, just like the Jamaican National Bobsled Team, Funko Pop Cool Runnings starts out slowly. Loosely based on Jamaica's first bobsled team at the 1988 Winter Olympics, Cool Runnings was a Disney hit in 1993.
The Pop! Movies series offers just two of the main characters in the initial release. Funko Pop Cool Runnings includes team coach Irving "Irv" Blitzer (John Candy). The disgraced former champion wears a Jamaican beanie.
In addition, the first member of the actual bobsled team is Sanka Coffie (Doug E. Doug). Dressed in the team tracksuit, Sanka holds his lucky egg.
Ideally, Funko will roll out the remaining members soon. The rest of the team consists of Derice Bannock (Leon Robinson), Junior Bevil (Rawle D. Lewis) and Yul Brenner (Malik Yoba).
