The action-comedy franchise made its name in the 1980s and Funko Pop Beverly Hills Cop goes back to the very beginning. The Pop! Movies set features Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley.

While we won't spoil the 1984 film, Beverly Hills Cop follows Detroit detective Axel Foley as he visits the famed Beverly Hills, California. Funko Pop Beverly Hills Cop starts with two figures for Murphy as Foley.

Displaying the simple style of Foley, the main figure has a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans and white Adidas sneakers.  There is also another version in the same basic outfit with a few key differences. Most noticeably, Foley holds several bananas from the infamous "banana in the tailpipe" scene in the film. He also has on a dark hoodie and a Mumford High School t-shirt.

One of the first blockbuster films for Eddie Murphy, Beverly Hills Cop topped charts as the highest-grossing film of 1984. And who can forget the catchy Beverly Hills Cop theme song?

Naturally, with only Foley in the mix, the set could use some extra coverage, including Bronson Pinchot as Serge, John Ashton as Sergeant John Taggart, Judge Reinhold as Detective Billy Rosewood, Lisa Eilbacher as Jenny Summers, and Steven Berkoff as Victor Maitland.

Eddie Murphy also appears in Funko Pop Coming to America and Funko Pop Trading Places.
