Complete Checklist of Donruss Hall of Fame Diamond King Puzzles

Complete Checklist of Donruss Hall of Fame Diamond King Puzzles

As many collectors will remember, Donruss distributed puzzle pieces in a number of their baseball cards products from the early 80's until the early 90's.  The most popular of these puzzle inserts were Donruss Hall of Fame Diamond King Puzzles.

The Hall of Fame Diamond King puzzle line appeared in various Donruss and Leaf products from 1982 - 1992.  Hall of Fame Diamond Kings Puzzles showcased a total of 15 different Hall of Famers, each of which were depicted on seperate puzzels.  A reader contacted me a few days ago in hopes that I could provide him with a complete checklist of all the Hall of Fame Diamond King Puzzles ever produced.  After some digging around, I found (and confirmed) the full checklist which I've posted below:

  1. Your Donruss puzzle list is incomplete. There are two Rod Carew puzzles. Can you update your list?

  2. In my collection of puzzles, I have all the ones you refer to. I also have a donruss puzzle of Ted William I’ve be working on form the 2002 Donruss Orginal. So maybe you should update your list of Donruss puzzles.

  3. I literally inherited 100s of these sets! Can you tell me what they are worth and who might be interested in buying them?
    Thanks Hank

  4. You left out Donruss ” 1981 BASEBALL GREAT MOMENTS” i found this puzzle card in a some cards i am going thru 4 my son-n-law. thank u

  5. I have many of these puzzles too, where can I get a price list?

  6. Since you did a ggod job finding these and you have a few followers, I am wondering if you can find out for me about a card I am missing. I am a Diamond King Collector and have all of the basic DK sets from 1982 to present, including the hockey and football versions. The one card I have not been able to find anywhere is the 1994 Donruss Jumbo #DK30 Checklist on front, artist Perez on back. (I was told this does not exist)
