Rowdy Returns! Top Ronda Rousey MMA Cards
Ronda Rousey is not only one of the world's most recognizable female MMA fighters, she's also one of the most popular athletes in UFC—period. Bringing the total package of dominance, charisma, confidence and sex appeal, she has a rare X-factor that has helped her ascend the MMA ranks in a relatively short amount of time. And while Ronda Rousey cards are still fairly limited in number, those that do exist have proven to be extremely valuable, even outselling most of her male peers.
The first Ronda Rousey cards were included in 2012 Topps UFC Finest. She doesn't have a base card in the set, but she does have an autograph. The earliest Ronda Rousey base card arrived a few months later in 2012 Topps UFC Bloodlines. She also has several different autographs, relics and parallels in Bloodlines.
Even though she has not been as active in UFC, nearly all Ronda Rousey cards continue to see great interest. To no surprise, her autograph cards carry the highest values. A one-of-one 2012 Topps UFC Bloodlines Fighter Autographed Relic Platinum parallel sold on eBay for $1,499.99 on February 6, 2013. More recently, a 2012 Topps Finest Autograph (BGS 9.5) sold for $999.99 in December 2016.
In her first 12 professional MMA fights, Rousey was virtually unstoppable. All these wins came courtesy of submissions by armbar or knockouts, with most coming in the first minute. She is also a decorated Olympian, winning bronze in Judo at the 2008 games in Beijing. When Strikeforce folded, Rousey was the first female fighter signed by UFC and their initial Women's Bantamweight Champion.
Of course, November 14, 2015 changed a lot for Rousey and UFC when she suffered an unexpected knockout at the hands of Holly Holm in UFC 193. Rousey was out of competition for over a year before finally returning at UFC 207 where she lost again, this time to Amanda Nunes.
Outside of mixed martial arts, Rousey's extreme popularity has even translated to opportunities in feature films, and she has appeared in Fast & Furious 7, The Expendables 3 and Entourage.Â
Although the options for Ronda Rousey cards are limited compared to other sports, those numbers will grow. All of Topps' UFC sets have come loaded with autographs and memorabilia cards that have been extremely popular on the secondary market. This is helped by the considerable rarity for most of the Ronda Rousey autographs.
The list of Ronda Rousey cards below focuses on her earliest releases. For her more current cards, review all the MMA sets from Topps using our UFC brand page.

2012 Topps Finest UFC Autographs Ronda Rousey #A-RR
This should remain the most important Ronda Rousey card. Not only is it her first trading card, it's also autographed. Further enhancing the card's appeal is that the signature is on-card, something that didn't happen in UFC Bloodlines which used sticker autographs for Rousey. The 2012 Topps Finest UFC Ronda Rousey card also comes with a special stamp noting it's her first autograph.
2012 Topps UFC Bloodlines Ronda Rousey #150
The de facto Ronda Rousey rookie card is her first in a base set. 2012 Bloodlines pictures her in a championship fight with Miesha Tate, locking in her patented armbar. The card has several numbered parallels, including a Flag version that's numbered to 188 with a striking American flag in the background. Other parallels are based on colored borders.
There is also an autographed version, which is essentially a redesigned take on the base card. The 2012 Topps UFC Bloodlines Autograph is notable for its low print run and the base version has just 75 copies. There is also a Red version (#/8), Platinum (1/1) and four one-of-one Printing Plates.
2012 Topps UFC Bloodlines Autographed Fight Mat Jumbo Relic Ronda Rousey #AFM-RR #/25
Boasting a minuscule print run, an autograph and a massive fight mat piece, this is one of the most impressive Ronda Rousey cards. The large relic window makes for several different combinations, giving most a very unique feel. With only 25 copies, these rarely surface but collectors can find other autograph relics for Rousey. A similar jumbo relic also came in the 2014 set.
2013 Topps UFC Bloodlines Fighter Autographs Ronda Rousey #FA-RR
Showcasing an intense image of Ronda Rousey, the 2013 Bloodlines Fighter Autograph is a reminder of how rough things get in the octagon. The base version is not numbered, but Red Ink Nickname (#/15), Ruby Red (#/8), and Platinum (1/1) parallels offer rare editions.
2013 Topps UFC Knockout Full Contact Autograph Ronda Rousey #FC-RR #/75
Another Ronda Rousey signed card found in 2013 Knockout, the Full Contact Autograph employs an on-card signature and silver ink to produce a bold look. One negative is that the ink pen they used was too thick, changing the look of the signature.
2013 Topps UFC Finest Valor Ronda Rousey #UVA-10
Sporting a dynamic image, the UFC Valor insert included in 2013 Finest UFC has a gold foil finish. The effect used gives the depicted shot of Ronda Rousey the appearance of a detailed drawing. Strength (#/188), Heart (#/88), Glory (#/8) and Valor (1/1) parallels feature various color options. A signed version, limited to 25, includes Glory and Valor parallels.
2013 Topps UFC Knockout Autographs Ronda Rousey #KA-RR #/99
Combining the base design and an on-card signature make this a great Ronda Rousey autograph. With a print run of 99, the card is actually easier to find than many of her other signed cards. A Red Ink Nickname parallel showcases her nickname, "Rowdy," and there are also Red (#/8), Mat (1/1) parallels, as well as Printing Plates (1/1).
2013 Topps UFC Knockout Memorable Match-Ups Autographed Relic Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate #/5
Although it is a tough card to find due to a print run of only five, this dual card includes a signature and fighter-worn relics from Rousey and Miesha Tate. The fierce rivals have battled twice already, and while Rousey won both, Tate was the first competitor to ever last beyond the first round, before finally succumbing in the third round.
2013 Topps UFC Knockout Replica Belt Ronda Rousey #/135
An unexpected inclusion in the 2013 Knockout product, these Ronda Rousey manufactured championship belt relics are very popular. The base version is numbered to 135 and there is also a signed version, numbered to 25. The signed card uses red ink and includes an on-card signature. Topps also included 10 redemptions for full-sized belts that are signed by Rousey.
2013 Topps UFC Knockout @utographs Ronda Rousey #U@-RR #/25
Twitter handle inscriptions are popular in card collecting these days, and the concept made its way to UFC in 2013 Knockout. The card includes an on-card signature using silver ink, and Rousey's Twitter account: @RondaRousey. While this yet another rare choice, collectors can also find quite a few other signed Topps cards for Rousey.
2015/2016 Topps UFC Knockout Museum Collection Framed Autograph Ronda Rousey
The ornate frame and low-numbered versions of Silver (#/15), Gold (#/10) and Black (#/5) put this Rousey card in rare company. While the 2015 edition is signed on-card, the 2016 Knockout insert features a sticker. Collectors can also keep an eye out for her framed inserts in the standalone MC set. Although the card for Rousey is a redemption, these should also be signed on-card.

ryan,
my friend currently owns what he believes is the most valuable ronda rousey rookie card, and he thinks it will forever be the most valuable ronda rousey card. The reason he thinks that is because he says it is the only 1 of 1 ronda rousey autographed relic rookie card, from the 2012 Bloodlines series (you mentioned it in your article). he says there are no other 1 of 1 autographed relic rookie cards of her in bloodlines from 2012, (or anything else), and he says that and anything after 2012 (like 2013 knockout soon to be released) will no longer be a rookie series card! He paid about $1500 for this card, (as you mentioned), but in talking with him, (and he’s been collecting cards for 25 years), he expects that if RR wins on the 23rd, the 1 of 1 autographed relic rookie card he purchased will be worth many times what he paid for it.
other really rare RR card he owns are – bloodlines #1 of 15 Red autographed ronda rousey rookie card. he also has one of those finest autographed rookie refractors of ronda rousey too, (out of 25), as well as a couple of the autographed jumbo mat relics (out of 25) of RR from the Bloodlines series (you mentioned these too in your article). He has several Bloodlines flag rookies (out of 188) of RR, and also several Bloodlines black rookies (out of 88) of RR, as well as a few of her regular bloodlines rookies. He even has her authentic fight hat, (the hat with the “throwdown” logo that she wore the night she won the title from meisha tate), signed and dated by Ronda when she won the title from meisha.
But i know that his most prized Ronda Rousey card is that 1 of 1 autographed relic rookie year card of her you mentioned in your article.
