2021 Topps Series 1 Baseball Variations Gallery and Checklist
Unleashing the lastest MLB collecting season, the 2021 Topps Series 1 Baseball variations offer additional choices for many notable players in the flagship series.
As usual, collectors must uncover the short-printed cards themselves. However, this guide should offer plenty of help with that.
2021 Topps Series 1 Baseball Variation Set Details
If you haven't seen it, the 2021 Topps Series 1 Baseball checklist is massive. And, as is the norm, Topps did not include the 2021 Topps Series 1 Baseball variations list.
Replacing the images for various players in the base set, fans can look forward to celebratory shots, unique vantage points and even some casual moments. Recurring themes include players wearing COVID-19 face masks. It also appears that the Ultra Short Print (SSSP) cards showcase MLB family images.
While the main aspect incorporates the base design and base card numbering, collectors can also find MLB legends. These replace the base subject entirely but keep the same card number.
2021 Topps Series 1 Baseball Variation Pack Odds
Based on how things are looking, there are at least three tiers of short-printed 2021 Topps Series 1 Baseball variations. This includes standard short prints (SP) and super short prints (SSP).
In addition, 2021 marks the first year where Topps included the odds for the third tier. Officially know as Ultra Short Print (or SSSP), these cards are extremely rare.
View the pack odds for a few formats below. Although it appears that all three variation groups can be found in every format, you can always check the odds on whatever box or pack you are opening if you aren't sure of the rarity.

2021 Topps Series 1 Baseball Variation Codes
While it would be nice if Topps just added a "V" to the card numbering, or printed the word "variation" on the back of the card, there is still a helpful cheat to know if you have a 2021 Topps Series 1 Baseball variation.
Flip the card over to the back, scan for the CODE#CMP number under the stats and note the final three digits. The exact section is circled in red below.

It is important to point out that these codes listed above only apply to the base image variations in Series 1. Nearly every Topps card has a CMP code number and most don't ultimately matter for determining variations.
2021 Topps Series 1 Baseball Advanced Stat Parallels
Back for another year, the Advanced Stat parallels are again numbered to 300 copies. These are not variations as far as this list is concerned.
Other than the limited numbering, the key difference is the sabermetric statistics on the back.

As is often the case, Topps sells oversized and poster wall art versions for the short prints directly on the site. This includes 5x7 and 10x14 prints. These are not pack-issued cards.
