User Reviews

  1. Are the SSPs the image variations or are there regular base cards that are SSPs?

  2. Topps noted both Base Set Image Variations (with parallels) and Base Set Super Short Prints. No parallels were mentioned for the SSP cards.

  3. Say can you elaborate on the hanger exclusive “NBCD” chrome update previews? Basically, what is that?

  4. It’s a retail-exclusive insert set, meaning these are cards that only come in Hanger boxes.

  5. I really hope this set doesn’t turn into the way Bowman Is right now. If so, I will be skipping. I have a feeling it is going to be bought up by the sellers and resold at crazy prices. It is what it is but I hate to miss out. I usually spend about $2k a year. Now I am at about $200. Just can’t get the boxes at decent prices. No choice to move on or wait until next year or until it’s no longer fun. This year has been no fun.

  6. hi where can i find a checklist of all the available 2020 topps chrome cards?

  7. The checklist will be available when the set releases. This is not until August.

  8. Okay thanks. I have a dilemma then, I’m trying to figure out whether i should pre-order a jumbo box of topps chrome or not.. that means i have to just pre-order without knowing what cards will be available in the set?

  9. Correct. That’s how pre-orders work for cards. You are locking in a price before the checklist is known. Only you can decide if it’s worth the risk. With prices like they are across the collecting world, it can be better (for some) to just buy specific cards versus gambling on a box or two.

  10. Okay thanks, Trey. I come from the old days where this hobby was cheap and packs had bubble gum. I would like to start collecting again but as Don alluded, this hobby has been ruined by speculation and greed.
