2020-21 SP Hockey Cards Checklist and Odds

Pulled the Stutzle auto from a blaster box and have no idea how much it goes for as I cannot find this specific one anywhere online, just the numbered version

So, this set is full of short print cards and errors galore.
5 rookie Signature cards are not supposed to have been produced but do indeed exist without signatures. That means 125 non autographed cards exist in packs, /25 of each of the following players:
102 Matiss Kivleniek
121 Aleksi Heponiemi
129 Kirill Kaprizov
133 Nicolas Beaudin
137 Vitali Kravtsov.
I currently have 9 of those cards. I will not tell you which cards. All I can say is WOW. Also, I pulled the Alexis Lafreniere – 1:242,880 auto sent it to PSA and it graded 10. I Now have Tim Stutzle auto 1:97,152 at PSA being graded.
Now we get to the Profile autos. There are 5 that are not supposed to exist. Yet I have 2: Patrick Kane and Aleksander Barkov, there is a reveal.
The Pyrotechnics have so many short prints it’s unbelievable.
Next are the rare color SSP Jersey cards:
Kirill has a rare Wheat.
Jason Roberson a Black
Bowen Byram a Grey many more, but you need to wade into the water to find the gem jersey cards. So, the colors scheme can be 1 to 4 different colors per player.
So, I will mention the Great rookie class this set has. The profiles feature a hand full of future hall of fame players and many others will later be in that list. Do not overlook this set. As ronfir stated, card distribution is horrible. I’ve also opened 11 Blasters along with 9 jumbo packs and I have not completed a set.
Thats 115 packs and I’m missing 3 base cards and 6 Rookie Authentic cards.

Anyhow, I’m extremely disappointed with these. Up until 20 minutes ago, I had pulled ZERO Kaprizov cards. Finally hot one in a jumbo pack I just opened. I dont know what to say about these. Really not happy. And to top it off, the condition varies from card to card. Some are good, lots have dinged corners or damage along the boarders. But in the end, I cant be mad at UD. I’m the fool who continued to buy boxes over and over again thinking I was eventually going to get a real hit. I’m done with these now tho. Sorry for the long comment, just wanted to share my story with these cards.

I really like this set, I grab a blaster or two whenever I hit Target and my girlfriend and I usually hit something cool. A Lafreniere & Foudy jersey and a 9.5 graded Cale Makar auto have been the highlights. Still chasing anything serial numbered rarer than red, though.

I busted 11 boxes and came up 4 base cards and six rookies short of the set. Collation was simply BAD! Multiple cards were miss-cut on the back of the card. Hit two jersey cards but one of those had a huge crease down the back of the card. Also hit an auto of Shane Bowers but overall a bust of a break therefore a two star rating on quality control and bad, bad collation. After 11 boxes you should be able to put one set together.
