2019 Upper Deck CFL Football CardsBrand: CFL
Canadian Football League collectors get another shot at cardboard glory in 2019 Upper Deck CFL Football.
Still searching for the perfect box formula, the Hobby format again sees a change in the hit department. While 2017 had two hits and 2018 had four hits, 2019 offers one autograph, one memorabilia card and one additional hit to make for an average of three per box.
2019 Upper Deck CFL Football Base
Forming the bulk of the release, the 2019 Upper Deck CFL Football checklist works with a base set featuring 198 subjects from across the league and two checklist cards.
There are also limited parallels that combine to average 13 per box. This includes at least nine Red Border (#/175) cards and at least two Gold Border (#/50) versions. The Purple Border (#/15) parallel is one of the tougher options along with the rare Blank Backs.
2019 Upper Deck CFL Football Autographs / Relics
With a trio of hits expected in each Hobby box, 2019 Upper Deck CFL Football should offer at least one autograph and one relic per box, as well as one additional hit that is either an auto or memorabilia card (or both). The Base Autograph lineup naturally includes select names from the main set. Group A players average 1:575 packs and Group B is easier at 1:20 packs.
There are also the UD Game Jersey (1:13 packs), UD Game Patch (#/25) and UD Game Auto Jersey (1:180 packs) cards.
Chase memorabilia inserts consist of the all-new O-Pee-Chee Jumbo Jersey (1:150 packs) and OPC Jumbo Patch cards, which have the sponsor logo for the team and a print run of two copies. Dropping the print run even further, the one-of-one CFL Logo Patch cards contain game-worn patches.
