While some of the print-to-order sets have already featured incentives for a team or player's success, 2019 Topps Now Future World Series Champion Baseball takes that to the next level in the debut for the Now Future line.

In this case, the "future" being predicted is which MLB team will win the 2019 World Series. However, based on the wording and the way the set is presented, Topps can easily issue multiple sets with a simple tweak to the "future moment" being predicted. It was revealed that more Topps Now Future packs will be issued but this is the only World Series edition for 2019.

2019 Topps Now Future World Series Baseball Set Details

Offering 90 cards in the set, each printed on 16-point glossy stock, the 2019 Topps Now Future World Series Champion Baseball checklist highlights all 30 teams with three players apiece. The design is essentially the same as the main 2019 Topps Now Baseball cards, but with an added black frame. As a result, fans can expect to find a specific team card every 1:10 packs (on average). This is important because collectors can redeem the noted prize if the team in question ultimately wins the MLB title in 2019.

Available for about two weeks or as supplies last, each three-card foil pack sells for $12.

The details regarding the exclusive card award for the team that wins the World Series is found on the back of the card. Most will be for the 20-card Chrome set that comes in a base version as well as several different parallel tiers. Naturally, this set would be for the team that wins and the specific parallel version is also noted. At 1:120 packs, rare on-card autographs for a mystery player from the winning team are numbered to 50 or less. Again, these can only be redeemed using the code on the back if the team on the card also wins the World Series in 2019.

Jumping ahead, if you own a 2019 Topps Now Future World Series Baseball card for the winning team, the scratch-off code on the back finally comes into play and it must be submitted at the Topps Now Future redeem page. If you are a winner, don't delay because the code expires on December 31, 2019.
