2019 Topps Heritage High Number Baseball CardsBrand: Topps Heritage
2019 Topps Heritage High Number Baseball cleans up loose ends from the main set and offers new MLB card options that highlight trades and rookies.
2019 Topps Heritage High Number Baseball Base / Variations
The 2019 Topps Heritage High Number Baseball checklist builds on the base numbering with 225 cards, including 25 short prints. That extends the overall set from #501 to #725. There are Hobby-only Black Bordered (50 copies) and Flip Stock (5 copies) versions for the entire lineup.
High Series is also packed with many other base editions. Limited options include Silver Metal on metal stock and the undersized Mini (#/100).
Chrome cards, numbered to 999, enhance 50 subjects in the base set, adding Refractor (#/570), Black Bordered (#/70) and SuperFractor (1/1) parallels. The Hot Box Refractor and Gold Bordered (#/5) versions are exclusive to the Hobby format.
Just like the main Heritage set, 2019 Topps Heritage High Number Baseball also has multiple variations to hunt down. The selection includes Action Image (Hobby only), Error, Nickname, Team Name Color (Hobby), Throwback, and Trade variations.
2019 Topps Heritage High Number Baseball Inserts
The inserts mostly stay with familiar themes, such as Award Winners and the multi-player Combo Cards for franchise standouts. In addition, Now and Then connects a day in 1970 with the same date in 2018, while Rookie Performers looks to the first-year stars not covered in the earlier Heritage release. There is also a fresh batch of the 1970s Topps Scratch-Offs-styled cards.
A new Hobby-only insert acts a tribute to the legendary Hank Aaron in The Hammer's Greatest Hits. This insert set honors him for being the first to achieve 3,000 hits and 500 home runs.
2019 Topps Heritage High Number Baseball Autographs
The majority of the signed cards in 2019 Topps Heritage High Number Baseball fall into the hard-signed Real One Autographs line. The base on-card versions are signed in blue ink and the Special Edition parallels, hand-numbered to 70 or less, swap in red ink.
On top of that, the hand-numbered Real One Dual Autograph cards and The Hammer’s Greatest Hits Autograph (#/5) cards are exclusive to Hobby boxes.
There are also one-of-one 1970 Baseball and 1970 Celebrity Cut Signatures.
2019 Topps Heritage High Number Baseball Relics / Auto Relics
Maintaining the normal Heritage procedure, memorabilia cards with jersey and/or bat pieces come in the Clubhouse Collection line. Choices consist of Clubhouse Collection Relics, Dual Relics (hand-#/70), Triple Relics (hand-#/25) and Quad Relics (hand-#/10). All four versions have Hobby-exclusive Patch (1/1) parallels and the single-relic set has a Gold parallel that is numbered to 99.
There are a few signed versions, as well. The Clubhouse Collection Autograph Relic (#/25 or less) and Hobby-only Dual Autograph Relic (#/10 or less) cards are hand-numbered and have one-of-one Patch version in Hobby boxes.
2019 Topps Heritage High Number Baseball Box Toppers
Only available in Hobby boxes, the box toppers celebrate 1970 once more via 1970 Topps Super Baseball, 1970 Topps Poster Box Loader and foil-stamped 1970 Topps Originals buybacks.
