An early-season favorite from Upper Deck, 2019-20 O-Pee-Chee Hockey offers a lot of options in the popular NHL release.

However, the OPC Hobby box format does see a change. Whereas 2018-19 had 24 packs per box and 10 cards per pack, the '19-20 set drops down to 18 packs per box with 10 cards per pack. Cases increase to 16 boxes compared to 12 last year.

This product will be scalding hot!
    Expect to get burned.

This is it UD. Cards look nice, but to change the format again and dropping it down to 18 packs is just disgusting. Of course, the price will remain the same or increase.
I’ve collected this set for years, but I’m done now. UD is killing all of the joy with this hobby.

Lets hope Daniel is wrong. The format has changed to less packs per box but more boxes per case which equals the same packs/case as last year. If the case price is similar (box price would have to be reduced similar to the reduction in packs) then this won’t be too bad.
But if they leave the box price the same with 6 packs less per box, they yes I would think a large number of people will avoid it. I hope UD has a bit more sense than that but only time will tell.
OPC is still the best bang for the buck period !! but a massive price change for the worst would be a nail in the coffin…IMO
