Letting fans of the ever-popular Madden NFL franchise play the gridiron video game and collect realistic versions of the top players, the 2018 McFarlane Madden NFL 19 Ultimate Team Series figures add a new assortment to the overall lineup.
As many fans know, the Madden NFL game is an annual release with a passionate fan base that eagerly awaits each new edition. The MUT (Madden Ultimate Team) figures help bridge the digital gap, while providing free codes for online packs, as well.
McFarlane Madden NFL 19 Ultimate Team Series 1
Although 2018 McFarlane Madden NFL 19 Ultimate Team is packed with stars, Series 1 features multiple players who already have earlier figures in the McFarlane Madden NFL 18 or Madden NFL 17 sets. This includes popular quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers, Carson Wentz and Dak Prescott. Electrifying wide receivers Antonio Brown and Odell Beckham Jr. are also in the first wave. Plus, there's a "mystery figure" for Marshawn Lynch.
MUT chase variants are another important part of McFarlane Madden NFL 19. These more limited options display a different look for select players, usually a clear change in the team uniform. Aaron Rodgers and Carson Wentz are both treated to a chase figure in Series 1.
2018 McFarlane Madden NFL 19 Ultimate Team Series 2 presents six more primary choices, including Tom Brady and Le'Veon Bell. Among the new faces, there is tight end Zach Ertz, young star QB Deshaun Watson, and the second-overall pick from the 2018 NFL Draft, running back Saquon Barkley.
Watson and Gurley supply the chase variant options, which combine to average one per hobby/specialty case. Series 2 promises a surprise figure, as well.

It would be nice if McFarlane actually made stand alone figurines again that are not Madden based. They are pretty much making the same player figures over and over again and slapping a Madden logo box around them. Cant bring myself to want to buy any of them nor do I want the Imports Dragon figurines for the NHL and MLB figures as I just don’t like the look of them.
