2018 Donruss Racing Variations Guide and Gallery
NASCAR fans have a little extra waiting for them with the 2018 Donruss Racing variations. Changing the base image for top drivers, the short prints aren't especially rare but some can be a little tricky to spot.
Revealed in the 2018 Donruss NASCAR checklist, the full group includes 20 subjects from the base set, and another five from the Retro 1985 subset. Although all the variation cards switch the photo from the base, there are also other clues to help indicate a variation.
The most obvious giveaway for the 2018 Donruss Racing variations is the nickname in place of the full name. Over half the set includes this feature, whether it's a track nickname, like "Rocket Man" for Ryan Newman, or just the first name for a driver instead of the whole name.
However, the rest don't use nicknames. For these, another 2018 Donruss Racing variation trick is the text orientation for the name. Base cards use right-oriented text, while variations opt for centered text. It's subtle, but still pretty obvious if you know to look for it. In addition, a select few change the frame color design, making it easier to realize you have a variation.
Just like the base set, there is a full lineup of parallels, including Gold Foil (#/499), Red Foil (#/299), Green Foil (#/199), Gold Press Proof (#/99), Press Proof (#/49), Artist Proof (#/25), and four one-of-one Printing Plates.

Trey ,I have a Brad Kaslowski Black Framed Base card,unlike the Black and Blue shown Above. Is there Black Parallels in the set,or would it be another variation? Please lmk if you’ve ever heard or seen any other black Framed cards from this set .The back all black as well. Just curious if I’ve got anything here
