2018 Bowman Big League Breakthrough Game Details
Less of a game and more of a redemption program, 2018 Bowman Big League Breakthrough Baseball awards those who submit the card for a prospect who makes an official appearance in an MLB game during the 2018 regular season. Entries can either be made online using the code on the back of the card, or through the mail.
2018 Bowman Big League Breakthrough Prizes
If all requirements are satisfied, collectors win a Baseball Player Debut Prize, which is a special Bowman Big League card for the player in question. These winning cards are limited to 250 copies (or less) per player, or 10,000 across the entire 40-card set if all players make their debut in 2018. Topps indicated that individual player cards are seeded into packs equally. The print runs for the winning cards are shown in the checklist below.
There is also a drawing for a free card set that is associated with the promo. Fans who successfully enter and redeem a winning Big League Breakthrough card are eligible for the 1st Prize, which is a 43-card set of Bowman Chrome Prospect Autograph cards. A total of 10 sets are awarded.
Even if your redeemed Big League Breakthrough player does not get the call in 2018, you still have a shot at free cards. Winner and non-winner submissions are eligible for the Second Prize: a 150-card set of Bowman Chrome Prospect cards from 2018 Bowman Baseball. There are 75 winners picked for the 2nd Prize, which has now been revealed as a Canary Yellow Shimmer Refractor parallel set numbered to 75 copies.
