2018-19 Upper Deck Artifacts Hockey CardsBrand: Upper Deck Artifacts
2018-19 Upper Deck Artifacts Hockey graces the NHL collecting season with an established formula of rookie redemptions and premium hits.
Continuing the format from 2017-18, every Hobby box contains three hits, which can be autographs, relics and/or the Aurum cards. Each box also offers one rookie redemption and four numbered cards.
2018-19 Upper Deck Artifacts Base / Parallels
In addition to 100 regular cards, the 2018-19 Upper Deck Artifacts Hockey checklist is extended by way of the Stars (#/699), Legends (#/599) and Rookies (#/999) subsets. All base cards are treated to colorful parallels, as well, including Ruby (#/399 or #/299), Emerald (#/99), Aqua (#/45), Purple (#/20), and Black (#/5).
While they don't apply to every name in the set, many additional parallels add relic pieces and/or autographs for the base, star, legend and rookie cards. This includes Material (#/499 or less) versions in various low-numbered options, along with Autograph Material (#/99 or less) in a similar assortment of parallels. There are also base Black Autograph cards, which are numbered to just five copies.

Once the season gets underway, Upper Deck announces the rookie players who are part of the redemption program.
