2017 Topps Sports Crate Baseball Cards
Product Details
Bringing exclusive MLB items directly to collectors' homes, 2017 Topps Sports Crate Baseball cards are just one of several collectibles that fill the Sports Crate subscription boxes.
Part of a season-long base set, the 2017 Topps Sports Crate Baseball checklist includes 50 total cards with five for each team and one per monthly box. As an added chase, there is also a limited Foil Board parallel that occupies ten percent of the total print run and is randomly inserted into boxes.
Reflecting the individual team and overall set focus, each card has a pair of card numbers. The first number deals with the card's spot in the team checklist while the second number notes where it falls in the master checklist. A full list and gallery is provided on the above tab.
Sports Crate Box Details
Centered around ten MLB teams for five months (May to September), the officially licensed product is part of the Loot Crate family. Sports Crate follows a format where collectors pick their specific team by the month ($39.99) or for the entire five-month season ($179.99). The boxes offer a variety of choices such as team apparel, unique collectibles like vinyl figures, and authentic memorabilia. There is even a shot at winning exclusive team experiences.
Giving each box a distinct feel, the Sports Crate releases have a monthly theme. May gets underway with "Bringing the Heat," which naturally highlights pitchers on the 2017 Topps Sports Crate Baseball cards.
While more teams are expected in the future, the franchises found in the 2017 Sports Crate line are shown below:
- Boston Red Sox
- Chicago Cubs
- Detroit Tigers
- Kansas City Royals
- Los Angeles Dodgers
- New York Mets
- New York Yankees
- San Francisco Giants
- St. Louis Cardinals
- Texas Rangers
Team boxes can be ordered through the official Sports Crate website.

the way lootcrate advertised the product was the worst. they promised 5-7 items that would be worth twice the 40.00 invested. first, the merch. wasen’t worth postage. there is nothing that i would have bought on my own. and it was put together for some 96 yr. old fan who would be happy with anything with a cub emblem on it. i’m sorry, but they took a great idea and shoveled it into the garden!
