Going into their vault, 2017 Leaf Originals Artwork brings collectors the actual renderings that were the basis for cards in Leaf's artistic sets. Offering hand-drawn art pieces used in the creation of recent Leaf trading card products, the very limited release contains options that should be familiar to those who have collected sets such as Sportkings in the past few years.
Mixing multiple sports and entertainment subjects, the 2017 Leaf Originals Artwork checklist supplies the authentic drawings behind Sportkings, Leaf Originals Wrestling and Leaf Pop Century, among others. The sell sheet teased options ranging from Al Pacino to Babe Ruth to Cristiano Ronaldo.
Bigger than the cards they became, collectors will find either 4x6 or 5x7 collectibles for some of the biggest celebrities in the world. The oversized cards are blind packaged with no more than 200 packs made available.
Beyond the sketches for previous releases, 2017 Leaf Originals Artwork also includes the drawings for cards that have not yet been released or were never made. As they are the point of origin for Leaf cards, these unique creations are true one-of-one pieces. Unlike most Leaf sets, Leaf Originals Artwork is only sold by the pack.
