While Panini already has sets for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, UD fills the weekend gap with their own promo. 2016 Upper Deck Winter is only found at card shops in the United States and Canada. The free set is geared around Small Business Saturday, held on November 26, 2016.
Each promo pack contains eight of the base cards. Included in this group are the key names from the UD stable, including spokesmen Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Tiger Woods along with multiple NHL stars like Connor McDavid and Wayne Gretzky. Both NBA and NHL rookies for 2016-17 are reflected with cards for Ben Simmons and William Nylander.
Although there are no standard inserts to pull in 2016 Upper Deck Winter packs, collectors can find rare redemption cards. These special cards yield $250 in merchandise from the Upper Deck online store.

Just picked up my promotion pack. The Pack was a clear plastic which when opened contained 8 cards, not 10 cards. Anyone have any comments on that? Called the store to question the packs validity to which they said that all the packs were of the same structure i.e clear plastic with 8 cards in them. While I was there i saw two other enthusiasts being given the same packs.
