An all-autograph product, 2016 Leaf Metal Draft Baseball features top 2016 MLB Draft selections and rising minor league players. Each box promises six signed cards.
Prospect collectors can find many key names in the base Metal Autographs set, including Alex Bregman, Corey Ray, and Dansby Swanson. The Top Picks Autographs insert celebrates first-round picks from 2016 draftees such as third baseman Nick Senzel (2nd overall) and right-handed pitcher Ian Anderson (3rd overall). 2016 Leaf Metal Draft Baseball also highlights Future Stars with cards signed by Riley Pint and international baseball star Yulieski Gurriel.
Collectors should note there are two key differences between 2016 and the 2015 release. 2016 Leaf Metal Draft Baseball offers one less autograph than the previous set that contained seven prospect signatures per box. Another change buyers will notice is the product no longer includes the Perfect Game autograph insert, which is now its own product line.
