2016-17 Topps Now Off-Season Baseball Cards
Product Details
Following an exciting '16 season largely documented on cardboard thanks to Topps Now, 2016-17 Topps Now Off-Season Baseball continues the real-time, on-demand set beyond the end of the playoffs. Making note of team celebrations, award winners and winter trades / new contracts, the online-exclusive release maintains its regular season formula of base cards with limited autographs and relics sprinkled in.
Picking up after the last out of the 2016 World Series between the Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians, 2016-17 Topps Now Off-Season Baseball does not directly add to the main Topps Now Baseball checklist. Instead, the cards utilize an #OS- prefix and give the line a fresh start with numbering.
However, nearly everything else about 2016-17 Topps Now Off-Season Baseball is the same including the design. Base cards are again issued in one format with the option of bulk purchases, and sales only last for one day. The pricing breakdown follows:
- 1 card - $9.99
- 5 cards - $29.99 ($5.99 per card)
- 10 cards - $49.99 ($4.99 per card)
- 20 cards - $79.99 ($3.99 per card)
Of course, autograph and relic drops occur randomly, each with a specific print run and higher price tag. There are also larger in-set releases that deviate from the standard 24-hour sales period.
Although not numbered into either the main set or the off-season line, Topps also issued a Now Baseball holidays card that started arriving as a free gift to collectors in December.
2016-17 Topps Now Off-Season Baseball checklist will be maintained throughout the winter break, leading up to the 2017 season. Check back for regular updates.
