Leaf is familiar with creating new products out of repurchased cards. In fact, you could probably credit them with taking the concept beyond card show grab bags. Most of those have been under the Leaf Best of umbrella that delivers a single shot at a great card from the past. 2015 Leaf Greatest Hits Basketball sees the configuration change, delivering four cards from the past per box plus one original Leaf card.
Like their Best of products, repurchased cards are a mix of rookies, autographs and other inserts. All are either graded, slabbed or encased by Leaf. While the price point isn't cheap, if you break it down to a per-card level, 2015 Leaf Greatest Hits Basketball is cheaper than Best of.
Sealed cases promise either a Michael Jordan or LeBron James autograph or a graded Michael Jordan rookie card in NRMT or better.
Leaf has not yet announced details on the original Leaf card that comes in every box.
