If Pirates of the Caribbean can turn a ride into a movie franchise, why not take an entire Disneyland land and make something of it? That's what director Brad Bird (The Incredibles, The Iron Giant) is doing with Tomorrowland, a futuristic film that gives a story to one of the classic corners of the theme park. While the movie is shrouded in lots of secrecy, it is known that there is a line of 2015 Funko Pop Tomorrowland vinyl figures.
The lineup includes three pieces with one character getting two of them. The first is Young Frank Walker whose sculpt comes complete with helmet, goggles and jet pack. An older, greyer, George Clooney-er version of Frank also appears. The final figure is of David Nix, a character played by Hugh Laurie, who is best known for House.
The 2015 Funko Pop Tomorrowland vinyl figures are part of the Pop! Disney line. Each is available separately.
