2014 Topps Illustrations Baseball Wall Art
Product Details
2014 Topps Illustrations Wall Art reaches into the past for inspiration. Based on the 1961 Topps Magic Rub-Offs test issue, the prints feature cartoon-like interpretations of logos and select players.
Offered initially through Topps.com, each print measures 11 x 17 inches. The complete line has 34 prints. This breaks down to six players and two prints each for 14 different teams. All are numbered to 99.
Among the players on the checklist are Derek Jeter, Mike Trout, Gary Carter and Miguel Cabrera. They're done in a "big-head" caricature style. Like the original Magic Rub-Offs, player names are accompanied by a nickname.
Team prints highlight different takes on logos. They're a mix of colorful and cartoonish spins that emphasize fun.
In addition to the individual prints, collectors can also purchase a set of just the players.

First review is wrong. These are PRINTS. 11×17. It’s EXPENSIVE. Not only that, but this is the sort of thing that is about the ART, not necessarily about the COLLECTION. It’s meant to be displayed on a wall.
Having said that, I love the old-school retro logos. The Athletics even going as far back as the mythical 1800s when they started out in Philadelphia.
