Wild Things: 2014 Topps Archives Major League Autographs and Inserts
The cards causing some of the biggest stir in 2014 Topps Archives Baseball don't belong to hot rookies, All-Stars or Hall of Famers. Rather, it's a handful of Major League-ers, as in actors from the classic baseball comedy, Major League.
The 2014 Topps Archives Major League cards were included in honor of the movie's 25th anniversary. They come with both basic and autographed versions.

The basic Major League inserts are easy to collect. The set has just four cards and are inserted 1:12 hobby packs. That means, barring doubles, you can build the set in just two boxes.
Parallels come with different colored borders. Orange are exclusive to retail packs and are numbered to 50. Hobby packs have their own parallels: Gold (#/25), Red (#/10), Purple (#/5), Printing Plates and Worst to First (1/1).
And while sales of the basic Major League inserts have been good, especially given the ease in which they appear, it's the autographs that are causing the most excitement.
A total of five actors signed for the set: Charlie Sheen (who played Ricky Vaughn), Corbin Bernsen (Roger Dorn), Tom Berenger (Jake Taylor), Chelcie Ross (Eddie Harris) and Margaret Whitton (Rachel Phelps). Major League Autographs are inserted 1:213 hobby packs and 1:1,580 retail packs.
Whitton only appears in the autograph portion of the set. She doesn't have a regular insert. If you do pull her signature, be sure to check the back as many of them are signed on both sides.
The only autograph parallels are Worst to First (#/10).
Below is a look at all of the Major League inserts and autographs.
