2014-15 Panini Totally Certified Basketball Variations Guide
As usual, 2014-15 Panini Totally Certified Basketball has lots of color to keep player collectors busy. For 20 stars, both current and retired, the chase is doubled with the addition of variants. While the 2014 Panini Totally Certified Basketball variations don't appear to be overly rare, the fact that they also cover all the color-based and die-cut parallels.

Combining the base card, base parallels, variation and variation parallels, each of the 20 featured players has 26 different cards. This doesn't take inserts, autographs, memorabilia cards and their parallels into account either.
Because the variations don't appear to be extremely short printed (Panini hasn't released odds), they don't appear to be commanding large premiums.
Panini hasn't confirmed which cards are the base versions and which are variations. A couple are easy to tell from the checklist as the players are featured on different teams. You can see all the base versions and parallels below. However, for those we aren't certain on which one is which, we've labeled them "Version 1" and "Version 2" for the time being. Once we're able to confirm, we'll note which is the base card and which is the variation.
