2014 Panini Country Music Trading Cards

Overall nice set. Unfortunately, the two guys from Florida Georgia Line (Hubbard and Kelley) thought it would be cool to use auto pen.

I guess Panini refuses to offer any sort of compensation.

I looked up Panini on the BBB site. Grade F with 174 complaints and 160 of them unanswered.

Where can i buy the complete base set?

This is a fun product for the non-sports type. My GF was very excited to crack this product.

Please be warned that this product shows just a small snippet of the country music genre and lacks some major starpower i.e. Tim & Faith, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Kenny Chesney just to name a few.
Think of this as the equivalent of Panini’s Rookies and Stars Football product. This set highlights the “rookies” and “legends” of country music.

We were happy to see some good hits out of this product:

The one dislike that I had about this product; is the same grip that I’ve had over a few Panini products this year is the collation is horrible. Out of a half a case, we had double and triples galore!

All and all a fun product that is worth its value at the $75 a box mark.

Who are these people?

I think the ratio of numbered cards is slim, and would prefer more oldies even J Cash and hall of fame stars dolly pardon loretta lynn reba mcIntyre this was ecpensive for a taster

Wow!!! These are a lot of the artists I grew up listening to. I’m 24 years old and I have been listening to country music my entire life (my hometown has 3 country stations and one rock station…that’s it). I think it’s awesome they have Montgomery Gentry, Big and Rich, LeAnn Rhymes, Joe Diffie (he was my favorite as a kid), Terri Clark, Sara Evans, Tracy Lawrence, and Joe Nichols!!! These are the artists I used to run around my house singing along to!

I’ll admit it though would be cool to get some legends like Randy Travis, Brooks and Dunn, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins, Garth Brooks, George Strait, or The Dixie Chicks…I think that would make the $90 more reasonable BUT these cards are new and unique! So, no real complaints here. I’m definitely buying a couple boxes! :D

Also, from the comments above it seems like the consensus so far is that people were hoping for more of the newer artists. I guess I am getting old at 24 then lol. When I think of country music i think of Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Randy Travis, George Strait, JoDee Messina, Brooks and Dunn, Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks, and the Dixie Chicks…not really any of the new artists who seem to lean more towards pop music.

Agree with you Justin, granted I have listened to country for a while, most of these artists haven’t had a song on the charts in years and even those that did, they didn’t have that many. Most are fair type acts and you can get their autos afterwards, not worth the $90 to chase Miranda, FGL and Darius Rucker which are probably the best 3 artists to get

The set is geared towards older crowds with just a dash of the new stuff . Tracy Lawrence / mark chestnut and others . 90 is a good deal for 4 hits . If you didn’t listen to country pre 2005 then this set May not be for you

$90 per box? Seems high with a checklist that is missing the big names. No Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton??? Not worth $90 to me.
