User Rating:

2014 Merrick Texas Rangers Dogs Safe at Home is a set of baseball cards intended to raise money and awareness for the Humane Society of North Texas.

Sold by the team ($15 plus a $3 fee), the set has 27 cards. Among those on the checklist are Yu Darvish, Adrian Beltre, Prince Fielder, Elvis Andrus and manager Ron Washington.

Cards are over-sized, measuring 4" x 6". Each pictures a player paired up with their pet or another dogs that was available for adoption at the time the set went into production. Dogs even get their own "vital stats."

In addition to the cards, 2014 Merrick Texas Rangers Dogs Safe at Home sets have tips on how to look after your pets and a coupon for Merrick pet care products.

For longtime collectors, this set might be reminiscent of 1993 Milkbone Super Stars. Not only did the set picture players with their dogs but in their early-90s casual threads as well.
