2014-15 Leaf ITG Heroes and Prospects Hockey Cards

In the game brings you awesome patches from the top prospects in the CHL. Also you recieve cards from NHL stars with some sick designed cards. Who could ask for more than that. Huge fan of ITG!

This product is expensive and unless you are lucky or purchase multiple boxes is a key down I would not purchase again

Another terrible Leaf product. As an ITG collector and fan of their products and their redemption programs over years I am very disappointed to see what happens now. Stop it Leaf, hire some hockey collector know-how or sell the game used stuff to Panini, they know how to produce great new hockey card series and are terribly missing in the world of hockey cards.

ITG Zeroes & Losers , another great product made for Die-Hard collectors goes down the drain to the Deep Pockets Gamblers !!! I’ve been buying & selling this product for years & I must say for a small shop I averaged maybe 45 to 70 box’s a year . After letting down my customers , with the bad news , I have sold a total of 3 box’s Wow Holy Cow Wow !! Guess Upper Deck will see a big increase of sales , from me and many more small market stores . My guess is adios from this parterneship in less than 3 years . Wow; what a boring checklist. Everything has been said before, but this was a great way to get pre-RC cards of true NHL prospects…. Bad Bad move.

I agree with everyone about ruining the product It was great to build the set and get bonus mega hits. I emailed Brian price several times and was guaranteed the product would not change. It has nothing to do with letting the Americans ruin another product. That’s an ignorant statement. This is Brian grey and Brian price’s doing. I hope they realize their error and go back to making heroes and prospects for the collectors. For now I just by the older products of heroes and prospects for low $ and pull great cards.

Best Hockey product from a Value perspective I have opened in years. Nice designs and player selection as well. It looks like Leaf has turned the corner and has started to figure out the Hockey Market.

I am very disappointed to see one of the lower-end (cost-wise anyway) products turned into a end-end product. As others have already said, this was a fun set to build and affordable for most collectors. The inserts and GU/Autos always featured some of the best patches in the industry and a wide-range of players. Now it is just another “lottery-ticket” product where all you are looking for is the “big hit” in your NINE CARD pack. If you don’t get a great GU or Auto card, there is no base set for you to build to still give you some enjoyment – it’s all or nothing and at a higher price point. Although the new price isn’t outrageous, the fact that Brian Price has allowed Leaf to ruin another one of his hallmark products is. So all or nothing? I say NOTHING!

This set is a complete and utter failure, and shows how horribly Leaf has ruined everything ITG built up for major junior hockey. The fun of collecting Heroes & Prospects and Between the Pipes (for me anyway) centered around the base cards and following the careers of the players in the base set. The autographs and jersey cards were a plus, but certainly not the single focus.

Leaf, please listen to your customers and BRING BACK THE BASE SET.

One pack per box, what a rip off.
Leaf has destroyed an iconic name and the wonderful sets produced over the years.
I will never buy a Leaf product again, sheer greed.
I truly hope other people will follow suit.

I totally agree with the above statements. Very disappointed in what is happening here. Two Of my favorite products too collect Heroes and Propsects and Between The Pipes. Now they won’t be even thought by me and several fellow collectors I know.
