User Rating:

2014 IDW Limited Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 30th Anniversary Sketch Cards is an extremely limited offering. Available direct from the comic maker, each pack comes with a special variant comic and an original sketch card. A total of 320 were made carrying an original price tag of $75.

Among the artists doing sketch cards for the special release is Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman. He contributed ten cards for the set. Jim Lawson, another artist who worked on early comics, also did ten cards. Other artists include Charles Hall, Dan Berger, Jason Adams and Chris Uminga.

The comic included in the package is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 30th Anniversary Special. The 48-page anthology has new short stories from several creators who worked on various incarnations of the comics.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been featured on a handful of card sets in the past. The most notable ones are those produced for the original cartoon and the live-action movies from Topps. These, however, marks the first official TMNT sketch cards.
