User Rating:

2014 Funko Nightmare Before Christmas ReAction figures are some of the first in the line to really hit on the likenesses. The fact that the figures are based on animated characters probably helps some.

The line takes an old-school approach to the early-'90s classic. It has a total of eight figures including three different versions of lead character, Jack Skellington. Each of the Jack variations features a different facial expression. Among the other characters are Sally, Mayor and Barrel. With such a large cast of characters, it leaves a lot of room for potential expansion in the future.

The ReAction line is based on old figures from the 1970s and '80s. That means they're easy to play with but don't normally have a ton of detail. Of the lines so far, though, these look closest to the original material and among the most intricate. They still don't have a lot of articulation or accessories, but it's easy to tell who they are.

After the line was announced, Funko produced a fourth Jack Skellington figure. However, this one was exclusive to the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con. This figure includes Jack's dog Zero.
