The Rated Rookie wrapper redemption packs for 2014 Donruss Baseball are showing up in collectors' mailboxes and it turns out there is a surprise variation. Masahiro Tanaka has both an English and a Japanese version.

By the front, the only difference between the two cards is Tanaka's name at the bottom of the card.

Panini has not yet announced how rare the 2014 Donruss Masahiro Tanaka Japanese card is in relation to the regular version. However, if the first handful of listings on eBay is an indication, the variation is significantly rarer.
