The Finest line has emerged as one of the most balanced and popular trading card sets with MMA fans. 2013 Topps UFC Finest hobby boxes deliver a total of six hits along with plenty of inserts, Refractor parallels and more.
Divided into a pair of six-pack mini boxes, every 2013 Topps UFC Finest master box has either a multi-signed autograph or autographed relic, another signature card, two jumbo fighter relics and two jumbo mat relics. Every pack also has one Refractor parallel.
The 100-card 2013 Topps UFC Finest base set is done on the brand's traditional chromium card stock. Ronda Rousey, Jon Jones and Georges St-Pierre are among those on the checklist. Besides basic Refractors, other parallels include Blue Refractors (#/188), Gold Refractors (#/88), Black Octa-Fractors (#/8) and SuperFractors (1/1).
Finest Moments (25 cards, 1:6 packs) cards highlight the top moments from UFC and the now-defunct Strikeforce in the last year. Each has four numbered Refractor parallels, the same configuration as the base set minus the basic Refractors. A total of 15 fighters have Autographed Finest Moments cards. Autograph parallels comes in the form of Black Octa-Fractors (#/8) and SuperFractors (1/1).
Spinning off of Topps' new football line, UFC Valor (1:6 packs) captures a gladiator vibe. The heavily stylized set has 25 headline fighters. UFC Valor cards also have four levels of Refractors. UFC Valor Autographs see 15 fighters signing.
Additional signatures can be found in Finest Fighters Autographs. Mixing on-card and sticker signatures, the checklist has more than 30 different fighters. Parallels include Gold Refractors (#/25), Black Octa-Fractors (#/8) and SuperFractors (1/1). Fighter Finest Dual Autographs (ten cards, #/25) and Fighter Finest Triple Autographs (five cards, #/5) are highlighted by multiple signatures. Thoughts from the Boss (15 cards, #/25) have an autograph from Dana White paired with one of his top fighters. The cards also have a quote from White about the featured fighter. Numbered Finest Fans Autographs expand beyond the UFC. These cards have autographs from some of the sport's more famous fans.
Not settling for small memorabilia swatches, Jumbo Finest Threads Fighter Relics and Finest Fight Mat Jumbo Relic cards have large swatches. Following with much of 2013 Topps UFC Finest, these cards have four parallels: Blue Refractors (#/188), Gold Refractors (#/88), Black Octa-Fractors (#/8) and SuperFractors (1/1). Both have autographed versions as well. Collectors can also hunt for Finest Fighters Dual Autographed Relic Book Cards that have a pair of signatures and two memorabilia pieces.
2013 Topps Finest UFC also has a couple of more unique sets. Some of 2012's most talked about cards return with Grill Gear. These have an entire fight-used mouth guard embedded into them. Kiss Cards have both a lip imprint and an autograph from a handful of UFC's ladies.
2013 Topps UFC Finest has 25 redemption cards, each good for a full-sized autographed glove.

2013 Topps UFC Finest Product Review

Good: Guarantee of six hits per hobby box. Inserts are also plentiful. Refractors, Finest Fans autographs and Valor inserts look good. Redemptions for autographed gloves.
Bad: Base cards are bland. Sticker autographs.
The Bottom Line: 2013 Topps UFC Finest comes with a very reasonable price tag compared to similar products. Overall, the design lives up to the Finest name and reputation. This product is definitely a step up from the 2012 UFC Finest iteration.
Card Design: 4.5/5.0
The base cards have a glossy design. Cards showcase action shots, fighter poses, and victory celebrations. It is bland compared to 2012 Topps UFC Finest. The many Refractors look amazing. Valor inserts, with its gladiator look, are my favorite cards in this product. I wish they used this design for the base cards instead. The Jumbo Mat relics have a large swatch bordered around an octagon. Jumbo Finest Threads relics have a large swatch of the fighter worn gear embedded on the right side of the card. These two are very similar to last year's release. Finest Threads Autographs look good but, unfortunately, use sticker autographs.
Checklist: 4.5/5.0
The base set has 100 cards. Unlike last year's release, all fighters are now under the UFC banner since Strikeforce merged with UFC at the beginning of the year. This set has more base cards of female fighters more than any other UFC release to date. The checklist would be better if there were some retired legends and UFC personalities like Arianny Celeste and Brittney Palmer. Besides top fighters, the autograph checklist has autographs of UFC fans like baseball's Shane Victorino and football's DeMarco Murray.
Value: 4.5/5.0
Considering this is a premium-style, there is a lot of value. The reward far exceeds the moderate risk involved. MMA fans should appreciate what the card maker did for this release.
The Fun Factor: 4.5/5.0
Topps has made another excellent UFC set, introducing new designs and themes. The Valor inserts here are a particular standout. With its abundance of attractive cards, Finest can be seen as the best Topps UFC brand going right now.

Ordred a 2 box master case and pulled out a Gilbert Melendez Auto Superfractor 1/1.. i have been lucky with Topps football as well i got 1/1 rookie patch auto superfractor of Andre Ellington ,who i think is underrated, and the Team Logo Parallel 1/1 of Montee Ball from the Platinum series
