Product Details
2013 Topps Qubi Baseball is not a new brand of futuristic cards. In fact, they're not cards at all. Rather, they're a low-cost MLB-themed novelty item.
At its most practical, a Qubi is a stamper. Kids, teachers, scrapbookers and anyone can use them to decorate a page, make a collage or personalize the backs of their hands. Qubis have a rubber stamp on the bottom and come with an ink-filled lid.
2013 Topps Qubis don't have to be used as stamps though. They can also decorate a desk or shelf. Sides have various pictures of the featured players, giving them a decorative look in their own right.
There are 75 total stampers in 2013 Topps Qubi Baseball. Fifty come with a rubber stamp of a player's signature on the bottom. Team logos are featured on another 15. Finally, there are 10 stamps that have player portraits.
Every pack of 2013 Topps Qubi Baseball comes with one stamp and a collector sheet. Collectors should be able to find packs for a couple of dollars.

3 – The original cost of the product was too high and with a single qubi in each pack you needed more than four boxes to make a set. Distribution was excellent as 4 consecutive boxes and a few pack from the next completed a set for me. The bottom caps don’t always stay and the checklist included in the packs and here (as of today) is incorrect. The Signature Qubis shows a number of duplicate players (Harper, Wright, Sandoval, Pujols, Ichiro, and Howard), but they miss six players (Felix Hernandez, Prince Fielder, Yoenis Cespedes, Derek Jeter, Joe Mauer, and Nick Swisher). I can only assume that these six players should replace the six duplicates.
The cubes stack nicely and pack well in a box. Like Greg before me I thought these were reminiscent of the 1970 Chemtoy release of superballs, but with better quality control and I expect these will age better. The stamper quality is marginal at best. They are more collectible for the images, though I wish they would have used different pictures for the logo and portrait variations.
