2013 Topps Opening Day Baseball variations are a time of celebration and a time of change -- literally. The tough variation short prints highlight several of the biggest off-season trades and free agent signings. Their regular cards show them in their new threads and in action. But these cards have been airbrushed on as the set was released before their debuts. The variations are distinct in that there's usually a microphone in front and a corporate backdrop behind them. Justin Hamilton, R.A. Dickey, Jose Reyes and the Upton brothers are among those that fall under this category.
