2013 Topps Best of WWE Wrestling Cards

Product Details

User Rating:

2013 Topps Best of WWE takes a slightly different approach from many other wrestling card sets. Rather than centering in on the wrestlers themselves, the focus shifts to the various story lines from the past year. Hobby boxes come with a pair of hits. The release is also very heavy on inserts.

The 2013 Topps Best of WWE base set has 110 cards. They have a black border and emphasize in-ring action and behind-the-scenes exploits. Hobby boxes have four levels of parallels. Bronze are the easiest, falling 1:2 packs. Silver parallels are inserted one per hobby box. Gold cards are limited to ten copies each. Finally, each card has Printing Plates.

Every 2013 Topps Best of WWE hobby box is guaranteed to have two total memorabilia cards and autographs. The first is a Relic featuring a piece of clothing a personality or Diva wore or used in the ring. The second hit is either an autograph or Wrestlemania 29 Mat Relic. Both are split evenly. 2013 Hall of Fame inductees Bob Backlund and Bruno Sammartino are among the set's 17 signers. These are Sammartino and Backlund's first WWE autographed trading cards. Besides basic autographs, Dual Autographs return with signatures from a pair of superstars. These are rare, though, with just 100 dual autographs in the entire print run.

Top Ten inserts are almost like a second set in the product. The 100-card insert set counts down favorites in ten different categories:

  • WWE Champions
  • World Heavyweight Champions
  • Intercontinental Champions
  • Tag Team Champions
  • Trash Talkers
  • Finishers
  • Rivalries
  • Catch Phrases
  • Undertaker Matches
  • Greatest WWE Moments

Top Ten inserts comes with tiered distribution. Those that are low on the list (#8-10) are the easiest. The closer to the top, the harder the card is to find. Rankings were determined by fan voting.

Product Configuration: 24 packs per box, 7 card per pack
Price Point: Low-End Wrestling Card

I have a printing plate degeneration x 1of1 but idk what to do with it, it’s not special to me so I would sell it but it sounds rare so can I trade it for money or something

I have a “blue foil logo” on one of the base set card. I suppose it’s a parallel, but you don’t mention it.

Enjoyed the cards for the most part. Top ten lists were far fetched. Broke three hobby boxes no autos.

So far it seems excellent. WWE has excellent storylines and that’s why I keep coming back to watch. Never know what will happen next.
