2013 Prestige Football Cards

Was wondering if somebody could maybe break down the Prestige and Elite, but more so for the prestige, I don’t usually buy or collect much of these early products, what is the story with say the NFL rc passports auto’s, how many colored ink versions are there? What is the base and what is the most rare? thanks

Love the product i dont buy boxes but by the pack it’s hit or miss love the design and the cards are autograpgh ready for ttm or training camp visits my favorite pull has been adrian petersons league leader materials the patch looks cleaned but had either a mud stain or blood stain on it

Prestige is a niche product. Period. It targets those collectors who either lack…or are unwilling, to drop a couple of Benjamins on a product that hits the market before Training Camp begins.
Prestige lacks the sweet rookie patch ‘graphs that make later products so popular, and the 1/C jersey cards are about as exciting as a Colonoscopy.
But Prestige DOES hit the mark for the younger collector; The #’ed Extra Points autos, Jersey cards & RCs form the foundation of a collection targeting a specific athlete, and those same autos are modest investments for those collectors who scope talented but less-heralded prospects such as Giovanni Bernard, Keenan Allen and Jonathan Franklin; these issues can be gotten for considerably less than what their ‘graphs will change hands at in later products.

All told, 2 autos, 2 mem’ cards and intriguing chase cards, ala’ Leon Sandcastle for $85-$95? Sign me up.

Compared to every other 2013 product I have bought this is crap – limited specialty cards or “Hits” – will not buy another box.

Picked up a box @ the hobby shop yesterday. Nice product, good hits. Pulled a Xtra Points Matt Barkley #’d 1/25, and pulled a Leon Sandcastle SP, finally! Overall nice design, good inserts, nice autos. Worth the price paid for the box.

Once again, Panini’s quality control sucks. ONE autograph in my box. When will I learn what most of my friends have learned … STAY AWAY FROM PANINI PRODUCTS!!

I had to add this little post! Sorry Ryan! I’ve been searching for the elusive Leon Sandcastle card in Score & Bowman retail products. I finally got my Sandcastle card yesterday! SOP! Standard Operating Procedure. That’s how I can describe my wife and I during our visits at our local hobby shop. What’s new? And when is the release date? I do clearly recall last years Prestige debut. A very forgettable set of cards. This years Prestige debut deserves a standing ovation. The new design on base cards draw attention to each player with their name, position, and team artfully displayed. The inserts take on a new design that is borrowed from the Absolute and Totally Certified products. This makes Prestige a very nice item that pays tribute to the aforementioned cards. As for my hits? Quinton Patton “Extra Points” auto 13/25, Knile Davis “Tickets” auto, Manti Te’o “Prestigiuos Picks” relic 140/399, and Dion Jordan “Prestigious Picks” 056/899. My all time favorite inserts were the two die cut acetate cards of Antonio Gates and Victor Cruz. This year Panini has truly out done themselves!

Very nice cards. More inserts would be nice per box of course, especially since you only get 4 hits in 24 packs. I love the rookies in their nfl jerseys though!

Did great on the short prints last year..nice product to view..has a lot going for the brand name and inserts and good cards are not to hard to get,,,the price is right..great for set,,rookie and insert collectors
