The 2013 Panini USA Baseball Box Set is a hits-heavy, hobby-only release. Boasting the first cards of the 2013 national teams, sealed sets come with a base set, seven autograph cards, a pair of memorabilia cards and three exclusive Select Prizm Preview cards.
The 2013 Panini USA Baseball base set has 63 cards. It covers the 15U, 18U and Collegiate squads. Besides basic player cards, there are a pair of subsets and three team checklists. The subsets are In Action (seven cards) and Curtain Calls (eight cards). For many players, these are their first major trading cards, giving the set a definite prospecting feel. Traditionally, USA Baseball cards are a more affordable alternative to their early pro cards despite the fact that they're often issued first.
With nine total hits in every box, there is certainly an upscale feel in the release. Besides basic autographs and relic cards, autographed memorabilia cards are also in the release.

I was sure disappointed with last year’s product. Guess I’ve been spoiled by the Topps, especially 2010. Hope this is better.
