Sorting Through the 2013 Panini Prizm Football Prizm Parallels and Where to Find Them

2013 Panini Prizm Football is not short on color. Every base card is set has a total of 12 different Prizm parallels. And while that might seem like enough of a challenge, there's more to it than that.

In order to get a chance at all the different Prizms in 2013 Panini Prizm Football, you're going to have to travel to different shops and bust different types of packs and boxes.

As far as high-dollar cards go, hobby boxes probably offer the biggest bang. Besides basic Prizms, these have Orange Die-Cuts numbered to 50, Gold Prizms that are limited to 10 and one-of-one Black Finite. And while the new hobby jumbo boxes might not have the ultra-rare versions, they offer better odds on cards numbered to 50 or less.

But when you're done at the hobby shop, you'd better gas up your car and get ready for some retail crowds. Besides the Green Prizms that are inserted randomly in all retail packs, both Walmart and Target each have a pair of their own exclusives.

If you collect a certain player or team, singles may be the route to go. But if you want to bust packs and find some color, here's some help to keep you on track. Below, you can see all of the 2013 Panini Prizm Football Prizm parallels. We've also noted where you can find them. When applicable, we've also included print run information. This guide applies strictly to the base cards and not the autographs and insert sets.

I really liked last year’s debut, the subsets, variations and parallels were done in just the right amount without adding to the overkill, not to mention it featured an awesome rookie class. This year… nah, I’ll take a pass, weak class and I don’t need 12+ versions of anyone, especially when the majority are too desirable to begin with.
