Remember when the only small action figure of a football player was the mail away William "The Fridge" Perry G.I. Joe figure? Sure, there have been Starting Lineups and McFarlanes galore, most are suited more for display than play. But that's changing. 2013 McFarlane NFL PlayMakers Series 4 adds nine more figures that are ready to take on The Fridge and other opposing players.

Each of these small figures come with more than 20 points of articulation. These let collectors and kids easily pose and play with them. They are action figures, after all. Sticking with the McFarlane tradition, they are still detailed. Each stands four inches.

All nine of the 2013 McFarlane NFL PlayMakers Series 4 figures are making their debut in the line. They're led by 2012 rookie quarterbacks Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III and Russell Wilson. Joe Flacco and Colin Kaepernick are other quarterbacks available. Others include Clay Matthews, Jared Allen, Rob Gronkowski and Dez Bryant.

Figures come packaged on a blister card, which is traditional for smaller figures. Most come with a small football.

Unlike the McFarlane Sports Picks line, there aren't any variations or exclusives in the lineup.
