2013 Leaf Memories Baseball blends 1990s nostalgia, autographs and prospecting in one succinct package. The set expands off of last year's focus on 1990 Leaf Baseball, adding buybacks from several years. Collectors can also look forward to more on-card signatures.
Every box includes five Prospect Autographs. The checklist focuses on top 2013 draft picks and key prospects. Like last year, the design is once again inspired by 1990 Leaf. This year, though, cards are hard signed. Besides basic versions, there are also parallels.
Boxes also have either one buyback autograph or redemption for a piece of autographed memorabilia.Buyback Autographs are done on original Leaf cards released between 1985 and 1992. All are numbered to the player's jersey number. Memorabilia redemptions are ready to ship as soon as they're pulled.
2013 Leaf Memories Baseball also has randomly inserted1960 Leaf-inspired Jose Abreu and Michael Lorenzen autographs.
Landing one per box are 1991 Leaf Baseball buybacks. Numbered to either 5 or 1, these are original cards released in 1991 with added stamping noting they're from this release.
Finally, each 2013 Leaf Memories box has six base cards. These are new cards highlighting top prospects. They use the 1990 Leaf design.
