Back for another year, 2013 Leaf Autographed Mini-Helmet Football is the third annual offering of the company's autographed memorabilia line. Each box features an autographed mini-helmet and a certificate of authenticity from Leaf.
The checklist reveals some big names from the past, present and future eras of football. This includes Joe Montana, John Elway, Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith, Peyton Manning, Adrian Peterson, Robert Griffin III, Trent Richardson, Jadeveon Clowney and Johnny Manziel. For the first time, there are also some prominent non-football inclusions, such as President Gerald Ford, Frank Thomas and Michael Jordan. This added wrinkle might result in additional interest from outside the football collecting world.
While the exact autographed mini-helmet quantities per player hasn't been released, the 2011 edition was limited to 175 total cases. The 2012 edition had 299 total cases.
