2013-14 Select Hockey Cards

Super vyzerajúce karty.

I really like the look of the base cards, and the inclusion of retired players is cool. However my 4 autos from the box comprised of a Charlie Coyle redepmtion (haven’t received it, pretty sweet I think) and then the other three are likely worth less than a simple base card. I got a Travis Turnbull signature, a Michael Caruso rookie sig prizm, and a youth explosion justin dibenedetto. These 3 players have a combined 11(!!!) games NHL experience. One is playing in austria, one in germany, and one didn’t get resigned to his AHL team. Seriously disappointing hits.

Loved the Panini Prizm product enough this year to hit up a box of Select. Same quality with some great action shots. Wish the autos were on-card, but that’s it. Rookies are a bit random. Loved Select back in the 90s, and definitely enjoyed a box of the reboot.

I think I pulled a card that isn’t even listed on the checklist. I nabbed a Fire on Ice Filip Forsberg 1/1. It is a Prizm and says “One of One” on the bottom back where the /35, /25, etc should be. Any info? It kind of has a teal’ish background.

Nice looking cards great look . Way to many autos of no value. High price with little value in return.

This is a good quality product. The Rookie Auto’s are all on super heavy card stock, and the inserts are beautifully designed. My only compliant is that the edges of the cards in some packs are rough and not smooth. Also, I received a prizm auto rookie card that has a ding on the side of the autograph sticker that I was unhappy about. I have opened 3 boxes and only 1 was a disappointment.

In conclusion… only a good value $$, but these are really slick looking cards!

This product is really nice. Just purchased one box and pulled the Fire on Ice Martin Brodeur Black 1/1. So for that I gave it 5 stars of course. The base cards are really nice as well.

Wow!! To make myself feel better about wasting my money on a case of Upper Deck Series 1, I went and got a box of this on a whim. Boy was a totally surprised! I really like Prizms product line but I love this even more! I kept hearing bad things about Panini and I don’t buy a lot of their stuff but this one blew my mind! An amazing product! The cards just feel like you just bought a $400 box. They are beautiful. The cards just feel so sturdy and strong. The autographs, even though on sticker, and the relic auto’s are amazing! You really feel like you get your money’s worth with this stuff. I will for sure get some more of this. In fact, I loved this so much, I went and bought the Select Basketball from 12-13. Panini is really starting to do a better job.

For 110$ my box worth is price.

Overall, this product is Prizm done right. For the extra money, the extra couple of hits and colour is very nice in comparison as well as some massive chase cards. The double RC class really helps out with this product as well. While parallels aren’t as highly sought after compared to other sports, they still fetch a little bit extra on the break. Overall this product gives 1 solid hit every box, sometimes 2, and every once in awhile 3. If you like to rip a product with a chance of a monster high end pull at a lower price, this is a decent product for you.

Eh. Looks like certified and for $110+ a box I can’t say the product is worth it. BTW, you must have had some extra sticker autos available? How does Colby Cohen make it into the YOUTH EXPLOSION sub set. He last played up with the Avalanche in early 2010-11 for THREE games, was traded to Boston and hasn’t sniffed the NHL since for the past 2.5 seasons; and this counts as one of my beloved autographs? Shame on you guys.
